Tom Paxton wrote this story?!!!!!**********

Wow, I'm impressed already: When raising my son I bought Tom Paxton CDs. I've even seen him in concert.

Here Tom has given us such an inventive, creative, heartfelt fiction. All the better, the super-lively pictures of Santa's elves (by Michael Dooling) look remarkably like human children, ha ha!

Goodreaders, this is the best picture book I can imagine, telling the story of Santa Claus.
This isn't just a book but the start of a family tradition. Reading it year after year and generation after generation, how could one ever tire of this delightful picture book?

FIVE STARS and HIGHEST PRAISE.
