Describes how armor helped dinosaurs such as Albertosaurus and Edmontonia to survive attack, as well as how scientists have learned about armored dinosaurs through studying fossils.
This book would be great for introducing the elements of a non-fiction book to early readers. It is easy to find the table of contents, a glossary, title, author, illustrator, chapters, and page numbers. At the preschool level, I would only read a few pages per day as there are too many words and pages for a preschooler to sit through all at one time. The book is divided into sections/chapters which would make sectioned reading easy.
