Very simple introduction to Katakana, one of the Japanese writing systems. It helps you not be intimidated by the different writing style and set of symbols. Its easy to practice because they start you off with a set of letters that you can already put together into "loan" words that the Japanese commonly use. It does explain some grammer and culture points about some of the katakana words, but that is not its focus so you won't learn a whole lot on that subject. It does good for what it was meant for, a non-intimidating way to learn Katakana.
