Very good book in test design. It actually covers more aspects of testing than just test design such as exploratory testing and defect management. The book also gives an introduction to testing, testing in different development lifecycles, and typical test levels. The book doesn't focus so much on underlying theories, but more on techniques to be in practice.

If you want a book with number of practical advices how to design your tests, this is the book for you.
