My copy of this book has an extremely American cover, so I presume this is the version prepared for the U.S. market. Whether or not that affects the content, I don't know. Not much, I think. The photos appear to have been selected with a view to the French market - the Duchesnays (and a gorgeous double-page spread of the non-threats, Usova & Zhulin) but incredibly no Klimova & Ponomarenko in the section on the free dance, though they do appear earlier. And Surya is there in the ladies' section. Like the Calgary book, the basic arrangement is day by day, and there is - again, I think, conceding to European tastes - less emphasis on the figure skating, and much more on the alpine events.
