10/12/2023 - Loved the question prompts to help the parent/child dialogue. Great examples of emotions. My daughter had fun imitating the different facial expressions 😃😌🤩🙁

My First Brain Quest: Feelings is also a question and answer book that teaches young children to recognize emotions, how they feel and what they look like in a book. This book will help them to express their emotions.

When I read this book to my baby, he looked at me with a confuse look because while reading, I also asked some questions and answered them myself while making face expressions. What children can get from this book are it will foster emotional literacy, promotes language development and encourage learning through conversation for young children.

This is such a good book to get young children to develop them build their social, communication and emotional skills.

Emotions are always a hard thing to talk about with children because they can be difficult to understand. This book uses questions to explain what people usually do or feel when they're sad, mad, happy, and so on. Examples are like frowning, crying, smiling, that kind of stuff. It's educational and uses a method that works really well for children.

MY FIRST BRAIN QUEST: FEELINGS is both engaging and thought-provoking as it encourages children to explore their emotions. Each feeling has about four different questions so children can grasp what each one means. The author asks questions like what makes you happy and what makes you sad which opens up a chance to talk about memories. To me, this book can also be a bonding experience between a parent and their child because of this.

Final Verdict: Out of all the different formats I've come across, this board book is by far my favorite way to explore a child's feelings. The question-and-answer structure helps stimulate a child's mind and get thing really thinking outside of the box.

Might use this for storytime but it's also great one on one read.
