Excellent overview of petrochemicals that covers a broad range of topics written in a simple, mostly non-technical, language.

Honestly I couldn’t finish this whole book. It started talking about chemicals I’ve never heard of that I’ll never need to know about (what the heck is epichlorohydrin). The sections I did read (70%) or so were so good and give a great overview. If I ever need to learn about a chemical because it comes up in the news of a train carrying it crashes, this book is where I will start.
