While I didn't always agree with some of the viewpoints of the author, many of her points in the book are very valid as they regard death and dying. Death is not something to be hidden away and ignored, but should be embraced and addressed head on as many other cultures have accepted it. Tis is a good book for the person wanting to learn more about life, its end, how to deal with it, and what is beyond death.
