On a summer trip to visit his uncle in a small town, lots of problems start coming up when he gets news his uncle is causing trouble with local plantation workers after hours working as the towns sheriff. My opinion of this book is that it was a good quick read. It moved a little too fast leaving some details out about what happened to some of the people involved with the boys uncle.
