Eric Shanes was a professional painter, independent art historian, and lecturer who was a leading expert on Turner. The vice president of the Turner Society, he authored many books on the artist.

Really neat little book on Warhol his life, eccentricities, and incredible artistic development.

Concise, well written, and peppered with a generous helping of well-known, and much to my pleasant surprise, less than well-known works; I would highly recommend this any fans of Warhol.
