I am in awe of this remarkable woman....such a prolific songwriter, encourager, comforter and blessing to whoever knew her throughout her long life. She accepted her blindness without any bitterness as she dearly loved and served the Lord as she left quite an impression to so many with her sunny disposition and caring manner.:)

Biography of the epic hymn writer - blind and brilliant in her lyrical skills and a true example of faith in a fallen world.

With an original copyright of 1915, this book was written by one of Fanny's friends, a man who knew her well. I appreciated the use of her hymns/poems at the beginning of each chapter and his story telling but with direct quotes from Fanny.
