BRIEF SUMMARY
Dominique is at the top of her came at Troutman Mutual Funds & Investment Company. With being sexy and beautiful, people thinks she slept her way to the top, but she does what she needs to despite what others think they know about her. With the sudden death of the CEO, the company is now taken over by Arvin, the CEO's nephew. Arvin steps in wanting to teach Dominique a lesson.

THOUGHTS
I loved this book, but felt so conflicted in the end about Dominique's choice. Asking certain questions within this review will probably giveaway certain things in the book. However, what I will say is that I thought Chad got off too easy in what he did. Nevertheless, with that being said I still enjoyed the story. In regards to how the story ends, I definitely think there should be a sequel, because the guy she didn't pick, I think he can redeem himself with the right woman with his own story.

Dominique becomes stressed out after Arvind took over the company. But she found a sexy and kinky way to release her stress at home. Overtime, though Avrind had not so good intentions, Dominique began to see a different side of him. While getting to know Avrind, Dominique is still involve with a friends with benefit only relationship with Chad. I liked that the author kept us on our toes trying to figure out Dominique's life as she herself is trying to figure out what she wants, or thinks, she knows what she wants. Also, a nice addition the author gave us, surely kept our toes curled with all the steam coming from the bedroom.

This is my second book by the author as I read Spin Cycle months prior. In that book, I always thought there should have been more spice physically although I loved the book. But I think this book surely made up for that.

Storyline: FAIR to GOOD
Intimacy: D.R.I.P =Don't Read In Public / SPICY & KINKY
Enjoyment GOOD

Up until the end, this book had promise. Strong female lead: check. Love triangle: check. Drama: check. Character growth: check. But a lot felt forced (I couldn't understand how some relationships progressed so fast), I didn't appreciate the amount of racial remarks (and I'm black), and the ending was completely out of nowhere for me. This book did not live up to what I hoped it to be, and Dominique definitely isn't who I hoped she'd be.

Uncrossing her legs was a good read. The relationship that begins to develop between Arvind and Dominique is a tense one. He has already prejudged her based off of gossip that he has heard prior to taking over his Uncles' company. I don't want to give to much of the story away but all of the characters seemed to have gone through some devasting things to get them to where they were in their adult lives. Chad is Dominques' boy toy and as the story progresses their relationship develops in ways that I never would have imagined. Overall the book was good. I would have liked to have seen more of a storyline in regards to the issues that the characters dealt with as children but it didn't distract from the storyline...it was just my personal preference. Good Story! Looking forward to reading more from this author.

My first read by Teresa Patterson but it definitely won't be my last. I was really feeling Dominique's character. I really wanted her to find true happiness after all the problems she faced in her past. I was also a big fan of Arvind. I felt Arvind's pain, he was only living out the pain he experienced as a child. I really wanted a better ending for him.

Chad seemed to have a stalker like personality. He wanted his cake and the bakery too, i liked his character for one reason only, but the author had a spin in the end,

Awesome job

This was a good read. I enjoyed it even though it had no killing it was still worth the purpose and that is women have to have morals...selling yourself for material things get you no where. In the long run you loose. I am happy that she found her happiness and she learned a lesson before it was too late in her life. Without morals we have nothing. Great job at getting the point across Teresa and happy to hear the setting was in my state...lol keep up the good work.

relationships

Not everything is as clear as black and white, everything also happens for a reason, rethinking my narrative "relationship" seriously
