The Message: God s Revelation to Humanity

"The Message" is a modern translation of the Quran that undertakes a unique approach from previous English translations. The two key differences that will be appreciated by objective readers and students of the Scripture are: There are no footnotes or addition of words between brackets to interfere with the Quranic text or message. The translation is based on a 'literal understanding' approach, which means that no sources (besides an Arabic word dictionary and common sense) are used to determine the meaning of the text or the translation. The purpose of this work is to share with the reader the eternal words of the Quran, which was revealed over 1,400 years ago and has since changed the world. The Quran contains within its pages the blueprint for the most appropriate system designed for the benefit of mankind. This system covers all aspects from the formation of a government, to inheritance guidelines, to the rules of war, to the basis of an economic and monetary system that yields the fairest results for all.
