Covers the usual ground of paper-making basics, but then moves on to several more interesting ways of using that paper in projects. Finishes off with a gallery of works from various paper artists showing the true potential of the craft.
Definitely a good "grounder" to allow the novice to make paper reliably and then a taste of a wide range of more advanced possibilities such as sizing (internal and external), inclusions, embossing, natural fibres (banana skins), etc.
Nothing particularly new or different to other books in the genre, but I'd recommend this to a new hobbyist for giving a good flavour of the possibilities and a launch pad to learn more in their preferred direction.

Excellent book.
Contains clear and useful pictures and description of all fundamental techniques and then explains and explores many advanced techniques through the context of a range of projects.
I have 5-6 papermaking books and this is easily in the top 2.
