Release your fears about reaching out to others and try the easy ideas proposed by three authors who know what works. Each holds different views on effective evangelism, but the result is a synthesis that wins hearts. You'll learn how to genuinely love your friends and family members into an intimate and life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ without being pushy or obnoxious. Great primer for those who've tried servant evangelism and don't know what to do next!
Dated and weird. Wouldn’t recommend over any of the other evangelism books out there. Maybe was needed in the early 2000s but still misses the mark. There is some good meat about the power of listening and asking good questions, but I’d spit most of the rest of it out.
Sjorgren, Ping, and Pollock all bring together their experiences with taking the message of Christ to those who do not yet know His love. They have quite a bit of good information and good techniques for todays world, therefore, I find it to be a good tool for any Christian to read in order to get a better grasp of how to reach todays world. There were parts of the book that come off extremely lightly towards actually speaking of God, but overall I found this book to be a great resource for understanding somewhat better what type of world we are trying to reach.
I learned a lot from this book about how to genuinely love and serve people and how to encourage everyone you meet in life and point them to knowing Christ - to a life-changing relationship with God who loves us truest and best :)

The book's title could easily bring up images of a high-powered preacher, or a "soul-winner" pressing you to pray a prayer and ask Jesus to come "into your heart." The subtitle gives you the clue as to what's inside.
Personally, I tend to resist any super-friendly sales approach, because I know that apart from my representing a potential commission, my personal life or needs mean absolutely nothing to the marketer. In the same way, people not in the religious or Christian "club" tend to resist various fake approaches.
Really the book is about honestly caring for people, and showing it in various ways, whether you get a "convert" or a "soul" or not. But it's vital to read all the way to the end of the book. This is not just about giving away free bottles of water, or free hot dogs; read all that these guys (the 3 authors) have to say!
