I am old enough to remember the earthquake in 1989. Where I lived I felt the earthquake but, it was only a little shake. It did not case any damage to the house where I lived.

One thing about the book is that its amazing that it was made in 30 days. Not bad. Looking at the pictures in the book I realized I had forgotten the devastation the earthquake caused in the Marina District and 880, and Santa Cruz. I did not even remember that people lost their lives in the earthquake. They pictures sure showed the devastation.

Certainly the pictures in the book reminded me of an earthquake I had almost forgotten. I could not imagine how horrible it must have been to live through that time in the bay area.
