Interessante a estrutura desse livro: discute as ferramentas e técnicas antes de abordar os processos.

O livro é simples e oferece questões preparatórias.

In a nutshell, this book is ‘good’ for those who are willing to prepare for the PMI-RMP certification. There are many errors in this book: spelling mistakes, wrong calculations in some examples, incorrect figures, and sometimes inaccurate concepts in Risk Management. I wonder how Al-Kuwaiti has not issued a list of errata so far.

Having said that, the book gives an overview level of the RMP exam material. While it is written in simple, easy-to-grasp language, I’d rather recommend it for those who have good background in Risk Management as they need to challenge some ideas and be able to know that some of what’s written, although very few, is not accurate. Besides, a reader should be able to assess the coverage of the book with regards to the exam material and the depth in details required. In my opinion, the book actually covered no more than 40% of what’s expected in the RMP exam.

This book must be used as one but not only one reference to any PMI-RMP test-taker. You need to complement, and sometimes correct, the material using other references to be able to pass the exam.
