About the author

As a child, Brigitte Blobel was surrounded by thousands of books, old and new (her father was a great reader and collector). Brigitte never read any children's literature. She loved poems and telling lies to see if anyone believed them. Whenever she found the world unbearable (which was often), she retreated to her cave in the woods, where she hid, even at night.

Brigitte started writing when she was 10 years old. She sent her work to different magazines and newspapers, but got published only once.

She and her husband (who is an editor at the German magazine Der Spiegel) have seven grown children from their blended marriage. Brigitte herself has two children; her daughter is a journalist, and her son, who is a doctor, gives her advice on her books.

Born in Hamburg, Germany, Brigitte has also lived in Italy and Africa (her favorite place). Brigitte and her husband have a farm on the island of Mallorca, in Spain, where they make wine, grow orange and olive trees, and keep geese as bodyguards. They also have a home in Hamburg. Most of each winter is spent in South Africa.

Brigitte is inspired by the changes in our civilization. Her advice is to have a positive outlook about people, nature, and life in general.

Her books for younger readers have been translated into 18 different languages. She also writes novels for adults.

Sunku vertinti paaugliams skirtą literatūrą, nes paauglystė jau senai praėjo, valant knygų lentynas į rankas pateko senai įsigyta, bet taip ir neperskaityta knyga. Lyginant su kitomis paauglių knygomis kurias teko skaityti, ši labai patiko, mano akimis žvelgiant knyga paliečia tikrai svarbią temą, parašyta lengvai, bet įtraukiančiai, skaitant ne tik buvo smalsu o kas gi bus toliau, bet ir pergyvenau dėl pagrindinės herojės, vietomis bijojau dėl jos, vietomis mintyse bariau ją, o kai kurių įvykių aprašymas pačią sugrąžino į paauglystę, atrodo pati esu šešiolikmetė sėdinti prie laužo. Skaitant kūrinį jau būnant mama, neretai pagaudavau save mąstant o kaip gi aš pasielgciau konkrečioje situacijoje, jei taip atsitiktų mano vaikui. Apibendrinant rašau knygai penkis, nes mano akimis knyga, kuri sukelia tiek daug įvairių emocijų ir suteikia peno apmąstymams yra verta tokio įvertinimo.

Ich habe vor 1-2 Jahren schon mal ein Buch von der Autorin gelesen, zum Thema Selbstverletzung. Das hat mir damals überhaupt nicht gefallen, weil ich mich gar nicht richtig reinfühlen konnte und es einfach meist so ist, wie ich immer sage: wenn man das nicht erlebt hat, dann kann man es kaum beschreiben. Vielleicht ist sowas dann eher für Leute, die solche Situationen nicht kennen.
Deswegen war ich hier dementsprechend etwas skeptisch. Aber gut, Stalking kenne ich zum Glück nicht, deswegen war mir die Lage komplett neu.
Und hier konnte mich die Protagonistin mit ihren Gedanken und Gefühlen auch viel mehr überzeugen, ich hab ihr das alles abgekauft und konnte sie relativ gut nachvollziehen.
Und natürlich hat mich das Thema und die Handlung schon sehr erschreckt. Es wurde auch nie langweilig, also natürlich ist das kein spannungsgeladenes Buch oder ähnliches, aber es war schon angenehm flüssig zu lesen.
Zur Sprache ist mir nichts Besonderes aufgefallen, es gab, glaube ich, mal einen Absatz, den ich ziemlich gut und schön fand, der Rest ist mir nicht besonders aufgefallen, aber das soll nicht negativ gemeint sein, nur dass es hierfür keine extra Punkte gibt.
Insgesamt bin ich nicht total überwältigt oder ähnliches, aber ich hab es gern gelesen (so gut das mit diesem Thema ging) und würde das Buch schon auch weiterempfehlen, wenn man mal in dieses Thema einsteigen will (ich hab davor noch nichts über Stalking gelesen, deswegen war das komplett neu, muss vielleicht gesagt werden).

Everyone has that one special book that drew them into reading. And for me this was that book! I remember then I started reading it I couldn't let go of it. The entire world around me just disappeared and I got lost into this book.

A few years has passed since the main character's traumatizing encounter with a stalker who tried to rape her. And she has began to recover. Now all she has to worry about is her a overweight and the fact that she has no friends. But then it happens. The stalker comes back turning the main character's peaceful life around.

it was very interesting, it is like in a real life like a real stalker .! you can imagine what a real salker is like
