Well, I'm not even sure if this is really the right book as mine says the editor is Astrid Ronaldson. However, I cannot find that book in the goodreads.com cannon. My reaction to Mao's writing, however, is profound disappointment. I was astonished at what a lowbrow he was. I not only found a paucity but an absolute absence of political philosophy, communist or Marxian theory or any thing beyond strategy and tactics. To think this man ruled China for decades fully explains the disaster it was as long as he was in charge.
