This is an odd little book, a 1972 reprint of a 1940 British original. It advocates stained glass as a craft for schools to teach, clearly something that did not catch on in time for American Baby Boomers. The equipment and techniques are both strange and familiar, often inexpensive and improvised.
I found it a pleasant alternative viewpoint from another time and place, somewhat useful and very sweet.

I thought it was nice and a quick read. It is from 1940 so i took it with grains of salt. I'm looking into getting into stained glass work. Interesting to see how they did things.
