In this book, Albert Maquet’s analyzes Camus’ writings like a dissertation. He strings each of Camus’ books and essays into a fine necklace of pearls and points out their common iridescence: the philosophy of Camus. This book has a lot of $12 words and exhausting run-on sentences that forces the reader to re-read between the camas. But, once Maquet’s is understood, his concepts are highly thought worthy. I have a question for anyone out there that has heard of Albert Maquet (not the painter): Has he written anything else? Who is this guy?
