I think that for such a small book, the author did a good job. There are descriptions of the included trails by geographical area which makes sense. Then it gives you an "overview" which includes the trail length, the approximate time it will take you to complete the hike and some there information. Then it gives more detailed information about the specific hike under a section called "Close-Up". Not until the very end does it tell you how to get to the trailhead, which was very off-putting. A novice using this guide might not see this part as it is often listed on the following page. Sometimes it looks like it attached to the NEXT hike, and it's confusing. Nice small book that you could take with you but an important detail of how to get to the trailhead is very confusing.
