This book is a treasury of 120 different cards to make. I found the designs to be quite simple, but some of them are very appealing.

There is an 2 page introduction section at the front of the book, and stitching techniques and card making instructions towards the back of the book. There are 4 different sections - A Year of Celebrations, For Babies & Children, Memorable Moments and Birthday Celebrations.

The charts are in full colour, some with symbols and are very clear.

There are also different ways to finish the small designs other than cards which adds a bit of interest.

I borrowed this book from the library, but won't be buying it for myself as I feel I have a lot of these sort of designs already. If you are looking to build up your stash of small designs it would be a great book to own.

Of all the cross stitched card books I've borrowed recently, this is the one that (for me) stands out from the pack...mainly because I'm partial to Gillian Souter's style. I still don't think I'll ever be a "card person", but this is one book that I would definitely like as a reference.
