this "tutorial"/propaganda pamphlet is useful for those who want to know the idiosyncracies of MySql (as compared to MS Sequel Server or other similar applications). it is about the worst thing one can read to learn relational database concepts, sql coding or just about anything else -- you'd need a more detailed manual to learn anything from the ground up.

assumes knowledge of command line sql and DOS.

a real page-turner with a shocking and unpredictable conclusion! (no spoilers here, though)
