A nice reference book about the the indigenous, non-indigenous trees in Portugal, the current state of our forests, and future recommendations for improvement.
Most of the book is a catalog of the different species found in the country, the general requirements (soil, temperature, geography, and production values (types of wood, fruit).
Even if it is an old book, it's information still old's true, and although it lacks depth and detail, it spikes the reader with curiosity and hunger to learn more about the trees. Some photos are inadequate as an example. The drawings and schematics are OK.
