One of the things I wanted to be when I was little was a girl with superpowers. I used to daydream and dream at night of having the power to fly, among others. I wanted to save the world with my powers. In this book, Abbey has the power to fly and many more. But she doesn't like having them. They interfere with her life and she's always afraid of being found out. So what happens when her ex-boyfriend and a hot new attorney re-enter her life? A whole bunch of interesting things. I liked reading about Abbey and her secret powers and how she came to use them. Seeing her struggle with herself and her powers and watching her come to not only accept them, but embrace them was pleasurable.

When I read that it was about superpowers, I just decided it will be a fun read since i bought it at a book sale for about $3.

Hell, I was wrong.

Don't get me wrong, the plot was interesting and catchy. It was the writing that really threw this book off.
The action scenes in the end were just... blergghh. In other words, this book was overall not as good as I hoped.

Fairly intertaining. But I don't need to read it again and I'm definitely glad it's a library book.
