Terrible!
The writing is boring. The dialogue makes no sense and I found myself skipping whole pages trying to find something interesting ...
Also I don't know if its the printer or it was done by design but the font on my copy is not consistent and there are words that are misspelled or missing letters.
If someone didn't care enough to proofread your work to make sure it goes to print properly what does that say about you as an author?

My first book by Anna Porter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the main characters and the storyline. I also liked the touches of Hungarian culture and history as my Dad (+3 siblings) and his parents and my mother’s grandmother (+ 1 son) immigrated from Hungary in 1930. I've also travelled to Budapest and definitely wish to return to explore more of the country. I'll definitely search out more of her books both fiction and non-fiction.
