A blind girl with telepathic gifts living in Sydney contacts a boy living in England and through their thought discussions begins to find a way to communicate with her intimidating older brother. I thought it was a good book, raising some fascinating ideas, but I found Anna's life unconvincing and I disliked the ending, which for me left too many things unresolved.
