While I learned a lot and it was interesting it was also very dry and VERY full of politics. I assume it would be easier to read by someone with a firm grasp of British political structure but as this was a crash corse in it for me there was a steep learning curve. There was little in the way on personal stories or things to make it more appealing. It really was mostly about her political life and opinions. Again... I learned a lot but I'm not sure any of it will stick with my children (although most of them claimed to like the book! Lol) my recommendation... Find something else if you want to learn about Victoria.
