The Murder of John Lennon

Rate this book
After eight years research into John Lennon's death, the author asserts that he was killed because the American administration saw him as a threat to the right-wing government of former President Ronald Reagan. He contends that Mark Chapman was brainwashed by the CIA and became a programmed killer.

Interesting conspiracy theory and I learnt a lot about the murder of John Lennon as I only knew a few sketchy details. I don't really buy the whole 'It was the CIA' theory but it did have some very interesting insights. I also was very much drawn to finding out why Mark Chapman murdered Lennon - he is a very intruiging yet disturbing character.

Bresler is a British lawyer with T.V. work to his c.v. Here Mark Chapman is a U.S. government assassination robot, pre-programmed to stalk. I don't go along with the hypothesis. (At least not until some firmer evidence arrives.) For once, here is a lone nut, whose happiness was a warm gun.
