Goosebumps Gold was a children's horror novella series, created by R. L. Stine, which was never released, because Stine's contract with Scholastic expired at the time Goosebumps Gold was to be released. In this series, Stine intended to write a sequel to The Haunted Mask II (The Haunted Mask Lives!), a sequel to Welcome to Dead House (Happy Holidays from Dead House) and a sequel to Slappy's Nightmare (Slappy New Year).

Robert Lawrence Stine known as R. L. Stine and Jovial Bob Stine, is an American novelist and writer, well known for targeting younger audiences.
