I will acknowledge that I did not have high hopes for this book at first. A few years ago Howard Murphet's books were suggested to me by Sai Baba friends but I guess I wasn't ready. Except for one part where the author describes the second world war everything in the book resonates with me - the spiritual search, the need for a personal spiritual teacher, and the spiritual journey. One chapter in the book reminds of An Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. Much of the beliefs, such as one God with many Names and Forms, are also part of my own belief system. Excellent read which definitely urges me to join a Sai Baba meeting again as I I in the past
