Welcome to the 6th chapter in our much-loved series that effortlessly weaves the peaceful rhythms of farming life with the engaging dimensions of LitRPG.
In the quaint town of Summer Shandy, another year has silently passed. However, the small town is slowly stretching its boundaries, reflecting the growth and changes in Jason's family life. Just like the nurturing fields that extend on his farm, Jason's family has blossomed beautifully.
The winds of change are gently blowing through Summer Shandy, bringing with them shifts in people and places. However, nestled in the heart of these changes, Jason finds solace in the loving company of his wife Tess and their sweet daughter Fern. In the end, the warmth of family life is the constant beacon that lights up his world.

I kept hoping something would spark, you know? something happen?
I have read all ten of these casual farming: quiet living litrpg… so there is that. I wasn’t ejected from them. That said the flaws make so much of the whole I can’t remember the good. I read mostly on my kindle, which meant with each chapter starting with the date I could compare to the % left in the book and noticed that each season was exactly 25% of the book. To the point that some of the shorter chapters felt like they were just glued in to make the page count line up just so. It’s like listening to someone talk about their Facebook farming camp. There are no stakes, a reset to zero sucks but what can you do. I read a lot of fiction so I saw threads introduced that Never Pay Off but because they came up a couple of books earlier need to be brought up so that they can be left unresolved yet again. I don’t recommend, even for fans of gamelit, as the game is a Facebook click to farm X style game.
Basically like the title says, a fun and chill read; I enjoyed the series so far and hammered through all 6 in less than a week. Only a couple things I didn't like as much in the series so far; most are pretty minor, mostly could use a little more light on how the world works, can be a bit inconsistent or obscure; but also pretty rare, and the series has become more consistent as it has gone on. About the only larger dislike is the tendency to conveniently pull everything together and wrap it all up in one go. Doesn't exclude me from enjoying the read obviously, and I think I wouldn't have minded nearly so much if it hadn't happened more than a couple times, it may just be proportional to the series length, as this one and the previous didn't really have that issue; depending on the 7th book I may change the last parts.
Jason spends quality time with his family as well as working an improving the farm .
Jason battles monsters that plague his farm eating his crops an weather that runs rapid at times . Though thru it all he manages to spend quality time with his family .Having to fence off the farm from the rest of the prairie to keep his daughter Fern safe and it also keeps the monsters back an out of his crops too . Still have to battle monsters out on the prairie as well all part of living on a farm .Couldn't ask for a better life as far as he is concerned .The casual life of a farmer .Hard work prevails happiness an growth an making an honest living farming .recommend reading excellent series .
A relaxing and addictive series, which I grow fonder of with each book. I love the little whiffs of magic, and wouldn't mind even more, I love who innately good Jason is, as well as Tess and Fern. I enjoy the farm expansions and the fun crop experiments. It's a big stress reducer to read this before I go to sleep or during dire news. Very enjoyable.
Still plugging along in its weirdly addictive way.
Without lasers or railguns, and no ancient starships wandering aimlessly through the universe this quaint slightly odd story has kept me coming back. Give it a read!
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is definitely worth checking out.
A fun read about our favorite characters and daily farming lives. Not as much action as some previous books in series, but still good. Awaiting next book in series.
