The bottom is absolutely annoying. Selfish, insensitive, stupid, lazy, dependent. His only redeeming feature is his nice face, and somehow he was able to land a superman-level perfect husband. Oh wait no, actually TWO good men. Ye right.
Feel super bad for the top. I do like stories with caring top who likes to take care of his beloved, but this book is just too goddamn frustrating and totally unfair to the top. He deserves better (And the 2nd guy also).
I don't give a damn about the bottom's circumstances. I don't give a damn about how he tried "so hard" to improve himself. It's beyond ridiculous how utterly disorganized this person is. I ain't gonna give him the "at least he tried" loving eyes and pat his head like a gentle momma. No this guy sucks, I dare say he's toxic af.
It's great that you wanna take care of your beloved and make them happy and healthy and all, but if the taking care part seriously affects your career, and even your mental and physical health, then it's definitely NOT OK.
If you want a story with reasonably loving top and reasonably problematic bottom then I suggest 恋を綴るひと by 杉原理生.
