by Marv Wolfman, Gene Colan, Al Williamson

Once he was soldier, a warrior, a General and King. He led his armies across river and mountain to defeat his Turkish foes. He was feared as Vlad the Impaler by his enemy, and heralded as a hero to his people.

Then he was slain and turned into one of the undead.

That was five hundred years ago.

One of the best and most freely evil adaptations of Dracula I’ve ever consumed. Marvel is the last place I’d expect to find this kind of horror story.
