Her formative years were spent in the post-war Govan district of Glasgow and went on to become a beacon of Scottish publishing. Christine spent her later life in Argyll with her husband and family.

Brilliant book just like the other 2 books such easy reading love getting lost in the book, sad when people die you kind off get to feel you know them so when tragedy comes it upsets you, looking forward to reading the last one

Emotional and moving

Took time to read because I would stop and leave it because I knew most wouldn't have HEA, really intense.
