Home at Last - Auschwitz Survivor

Mr. Moses was compelled to write his story if for no other reason than to document the unique evil that befell the victims of the Nazi Party in the last century. Nothing in his own childhood could have prepared him for the horrific years that followed. From a youth with a normal, easy-going life to a starved prisoner exposed to death and torture every day from 1942 through 1945, going from two concentration camps and then finally in the death camp that was Auschwitz.

I've read many books on the Holocaust. It never ceases to amaze me how human beings could have done this to their fellow human beings. How did this happen? But the human spirit and the desire to live and persevere are stronger than the demons of the Holocaust and are evident in Mr. Moses book.

Wonderful book. Mr. Moses did a great job of telling his story of recovery after the Holocaust. This book goes into very little detail about his actual time in camps, but instead focuses on the human spirit and what it can overcome.
