My name is Mark Wheawill. Some friends call Me Marcus. I am an artist, record producer and DJ. I have suffered from mental health issues for the past fifteen years and I have battled depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and more recently - a sleep disorder.I also have had an addiction to marijuana for the last two decades or so. For the last three years, I have suspected that I suffer from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I was a rising star in the electronic dance music scene in the early noughties. I was at the peak of my Progressive House/Trance music career. I'd performed live on air on Manchester's biggest radio station - KEY 103 to about 15,000 listeners and I went on record as saying I wanted to work with Christina Aguilera in 2003.Then it all came crashing down in 2005, not long after releasing my debut album on my own record label when I was taken into the care of the mental health system for a decade. I was also declared bankrupt in 2007. This is my autobiography and story about how I have managed to overcome adversity and two decades of persecution and how I have battled PTSD and how I managed this debilitating illness without any real help or support.
