This Book covers the essence of different political symbolism throughout history. I was delighted to find it at my local bookstore because these types of books are so rare to find in the German language space. Inside you will find many different political symbols (duh) and the history behind them. However, the reason why I have given it 4 instead of 5 stars, is that firstly this book is meant more for a European/german audience rather than a general audience, which means that inside you will find a more detailed description of the German flag then the symbol of the democratic party (USA). Additionally, I have found some date mixups and minor historical inaccuracies. Another disadvantage is that it comes from a known author who is considered to be conservative background. Personally, I would recommend anyone who is really interested in history or politics. The print is also excellent and I have not discovered any printing issues so far.
