The contents page easily categorizes Egypt’s army, mummies, pharaohs and the pyramids along with a glossary and plenty of other information. Readers will be able to quick find the pages of specific items quickly and easily. Readers will enjoy quick informative facts about Egypt on every page. Maps, photos and facts provide excellent visual aides for young readers. The reader won't be lost or overwhelmed. A glossary of terms can be found in the back of the book, along with a list of websites if readers want to learn more on their own. A list of fun websites is also included which features puzzles and games for kids. Laidlaw does a great job of organizing important facts on Egypt for kids. Parents and teachers can introduce children to Egypt as well as grooming them for the use of larger fact finding books such as encyclopedias and almanacs.
