About as dense as books come. Excellent illustrations. Outlines clearly outline reactions and describe how reactions are relevant from a clinical standpoint. I do not, however, think this book is helpful in terms of giving you ways to help remember all the details you need. So, though it's thorough and understandable, it's not great to Rapidly re-memorize medical biochemistry.
