It seems weird to say this, 'cause I don't get to say it very often, but I think I may not be old enough for these cartoons. Though I love Lorenz's style, panel after panel of old fogies hanging out at the retirement home and coots in wheelchairs lusting after young chippies did not elicit many chuckles.
I was feeling distinctly unamused until the last cartoon in the book...as Death plays a merry tune on the piano, a husband and wife circle the one remaining chair, just waiting for the music to stop.
THAT one was snerk-worthy.
But kudos to the cartoonist...you made me feel so young!
