Okay, this one is not the thrilling read I am used to, but it was darn helpful. We recently bought a house in central Florida and the previous owners abused the lawn horribly. It was overrun with weeds, ants, and the grass was cut so short it actually burned.

I got this book and now I have a much better handle on my yard. The wording is fairly simple and things are explained in segments that are easy to follow and refer back to. The photos were a HUGE help. I now know what kind of grass I have, what all the weeds we are trying to eliminate are, and how to care for the lawn so it loves me back.

In two short months, we already have great improvement. It may be a dry read, but it is a useful one.
