About Mormons recruited from middle us to Utah, beginning with their trek. Awful writing, could have been a good story but drawn out and the character makes stupid decision after stupid decision.

I love this book. I read it when it came out in the mid-1980s, then again in 200, and now in 2022. The book is out of print now.

My grandma gave me this to read, and she can totally have it back. Bo-ring! Took me forever to read this book because of how much it dragged. I liked the main character but hated all the crap she had to put up with. The beginning was kind of interesting but went downhill from there.

a book about polygamy as you could guess by the title. Interesting, but harsh on the lifestyle and a bit dramatic. Not that great of a book.
