Life for Chloe was normal until that fateful day on Highway 64 in North Carolina. She changed into something one would find different. She soon moves to the east coast and begins her long journey to her destiny. She begins to discover who she is and what she is capable of. Nothing is as it seems in her surroundings; there are people who hold a large secret that are near to her. There are people who want her dead and want to capture her. There is a war between two groups of people, known as the Archers and Seekers. Chloe thinks that once she finds out she is an Archer, everything is okay. But nothing is okay. Slowly, everything begins to turn into a chaotic mess and she isn’t able to live as a normal teenager anymore.
