All is not well at the home of Hippo, Potto and Mouse. Potto does all the domestic work while Hippo and Mouse complain and order more. Potto just leaves and Mouse and Hippo have to figure out how to do this alone. The can't cook and go to bed hungry. They call and beg Potto to come home.

I didn't think the story was great or anything. I'm a modern adult reader and to my sensibility, this is the story about a same-sex couple raising a mouse. They all wear suits, so they all appear to be boys. To me, this is like a wink-wink LGBT story.

You can tell that Roger wrote the Mr. Men series. The artwork is so Mr. Men. There are about 6 books in this series as far as I can tell. They aren't as cute as Mr. Men.

I would be interested in what other people think of this story.
