The practical section is great. The narrative, though, is annoyingly preachy--even offers up a sermon on the dangers of rock music. Sigh.

This was a great first read - some practical info, and much philosophical info. Made me think about WHY I want to home school. I read the 1984 ed. of this book - not the CD-rom its showing in the picture....
