He hits it big when he marries the well-off Brooklyn, but with no good intentions and his narcissistic behavior, he quickly puts a plan into motion that will have deadly consequences. With jealousy, murder, and greed mixed together in this web of deceit, there can be no happy ending in this twisted love triangle.

This book was so good! It had me mad, happy, sad, and constantly laughing. I felt so many different emotions while reading. The author did a great job of making you feel a certain way towards the MC’s. Brooklyn was pissing me off throughout the book. Ain’t no dick that good to make you behave in that way! I understand that when you get married, you make a vow; for better or for worse. But there was never any, BETTER. Her husband Jihad put her through the most. Almost unbelievable. This book showed the lengths that women will go to, just to say they have someone. Even when things are right in your face, as women we tend to make excuses or think we are crazy, but some of the stuff that happened, there was no excuse for it at all!

Jihad put a bad taste in my mouth from the beginning of this book. Most men start off being so sweet and your dream guy and soon as you let your guard down, all hell breaks lose. That man got everything he deserved! Cheating ass MF.

Alyssa, smh! I felt sorry for her a little but then I didn’t because when she found out Jihad was married, she still decided to keep messing with him to try and destroy Brooklyns life; all while still coming around being fake to her. I wanted to ring her neck so bad!!!

You literally can’t trust ANYONE! There was a twist in the end but I kinda guessed it. It was super obvious. If you like urban fiction, messy drama, need a good laugh, want some spice or intend to read a book that you don’t want to put down; this is for you!

Very interesting book with an interesting twist at the end! While I love this book the beginning of the storyline was rushed and some parts were left out! The ending still came together despite that. I felt so bad for Brooklyn. She did nothing to deserve the pain and agony she encountered. You can’t trust anyone! Friends, or Foes. Alyssa signed up for a life for heartache and pain despite the warnings her mother provided. In the end I felt sorry for her but then again she knew what it was! Now she has to try to raise her child knowing the dirt sh did to create her own misery. The guy-he deserved it all.He was abusive and FOUL!

I really enjoyed this book! The women in the book were crazy over the looks and sex of a no good man. He teamed up with Jasmine to try and kill her best friend Brooklyn for her money. You didn't find this out until the end of the book. The author made you think it was Alyssa he really wanted. Read the book to find out how it all goes down.

This book is definitely a must read. You have to really stay tuned or you will miss something. Jihad is a trip in this book. I know this book just came out but I’m ready for part 2 already.
