Randy Sanderson was born and raised in north St Louis. From humble beginnings he climbed the corporate ladder at two Fortune 500 corporations. On many occasions throughout his professional career, he was the ONLY Black in the room. Today Sanderson is a seasoned team and people- oriented business and community leader. Most recently, he is the co-owner of Wade Funeral Home and through his CFO services company (Sanderson Services LLC) has served as CFO for the Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club. He also serves as director of finance at First Baptist Church of Chesterfield. Sanderson has more than 40 years of varied finance, accounting, and operations experience. That work has covered directing the account and finance operations of multi-billion-dollar companies to handling Mathews-Dickey’s $2.5 million budget. He has led staffs numbering more than 150 people in multiple locations and has developed and mentored young executives who hold key positions in major corporations. Sanderson is also active in the community. He currently serves on the audit committee of AMIKids Inc., a national organization that works with youth to reduce recidivism, facilitate educational gains, and cultivate an environment of achievement and improvement. He has also served on the business advisory board at his alma mater the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he endowed a scholarship in his name. This scholarship has benefited many deserving students. Sanderson is currently semi-retired and lives in Lake Worth, Fla.
