This book has a lovely message! My only reason for the 3-star rating is that I felt the structure could have been better, but that doesn't mean this book won't be impactful for others.

Here are some of my favorite passages:

"If a drug were found that was shown in studies to do what art does, it would be used extensively."

"Art heals you, art heals others, and art heals the earth. Each of us has deep within us an inner artist and an inner healer."

"See yourself as a dancer...see that you live in the dance of your own life."

This book is old fashioned in its writing talking about cassette tapes and the World Wide Web. However, it gives some great examples of creative healing, methods to use, and a bit of the science behind how this happens.

It's mostly stories about how others have tapped into their creativity for healing. There were some sections in the middle of the book about you can tap into your creativity for healing, but even those sections contained examples of how others have done it. For people who need the inspiration or can extrapolate from others' experiences, this is fine. For those looking for instructions on how to be creative, it's lacking.
